ranked super-welter, surprisingly lost an upset unanimous decision to
TERUO NAGASE, 153 1/2, over 10.
Yoshino, who had previously failed to win the WBA super-light title via a stoppage by Juan Martin Coggi, once hung up gloves and returned to the ring warfare. His trade-mark left hook couldn't catch the game and faster opponent.
Scored: 98-95, 98-96 and 98-94, all for Nagase, 17-5-1, 11 KOs. Yoshino, in his 4th comebacking fight, fell to 33-8-1, 25 KOs.
Ex-ranked hard-punchers put on a fierce give-and-take performance when TOMOAKI IWASA, 123, battled to a majority draw with FUSAAKI TAKENAGA, 123 1/4, over 10.
They hit the deck each other in the 5th. Takenaga, who previously fought Filipino Reynante Jamili for the vacant OPBF title, floored him with a straight left in the 7th. But Iwasa, a veteran from Nagoya, dropped Takenaga with a smashing right in the closing seconds of the 10th and final canto.
Scored: 96-96, 95-95 and 96-95 for Iwasa.
Takenaga is 21-6-1, 20 KOs. Iwasa is 23-9-4, 16 KOs.

Ohno, who had entered the Japanese top ten thanks to his upset TKO over Kiyoshi Adachi last Oct., bettered his mark to 10-6-1, 8 KOs. Soeda dipped to 7-8, 4 KOs.

TOKYO, JAPAN-Japan's #4 ranked super-fly TAKUYA KIYA, 115, dropped Thai
fly champ PANOMDECH OH YUTHANAKORN, 115, twice in the second and decked
a TKO win at the end of the 7th session.
Kiya is 16-3-1, 12 KOs. Kiya previously beat Filipino Randy Mangbut to be ranked by the WBA, but lost to future OPBF super-fly ruler Masamori Tokuyama to drop out of the WBA's top 15. The Thailander fell to 27-13, 11 KOs.
MASAKI NAKANUMA, 111 3/4, who previously fought under the name of Trash Nakanuma, landed a solid left hook and sank Thailand's YODPETCH CHUWATANA, 112, at 1:52 of the second session in a scheduled 10.
Nakanuma, on his comeback trail, improved his mark to 15-2, 5 KOs. Yodpetch reportedly dropped to 4-1, 3 KOs.
