TOKYO, JAPAN-The press conference and rules meeting for Sunday’s WBA lightweight title bout between Takanori Hatakeyama and Julian Lorcy have been over at Tokyo Dome Hotel.
The WBA officials were announced as follows:
Referee Julio Cesar Alvarado (Panama), judges Stanley Christodoulou (South Africa), Lou Tabat (US) and Erkki Meronen (Finland). The WBA supervisor is Arberto Sarmiento (Venezuela).
Both expressed their respect to the opponent but showed their confidence of victory. It will be a very competitive fight between the champ and the mandatory challenger.
