TOKYO, JAPAN-WBC #18 ranked Japan-based Russian super-fly Knight Alexander, 118, proved too sharp, fast and ringwise for game but limited Satoshi Usui (11-6-4, 5 KOs), 117.5, to run his unbeaten mark to 4-0, 2 KOs by a fine TKO at 2:49 of the 6th round.

The tall and stylish Russian, whose amateur mark was as excellent as 124-4, 80 stoppages, reportedly once acquired the gold medal in the world youth championship prior to his entry into the paid ranks. He completely outpunched the shorter Japanese from all angles, and almost stunned him with such a flurry of punches that ref Uratani intervened to save the loser from further punishment.
