TOKYO, JAPAN-WBC #16 ranked OPBF 168-pound champ Yoshinori Nishizawa(right photo) (20-13-5, 11 KOs), 169.75, made short work of Gabirieli Ravalawa Nimacere (8-4, 5 KOs), 169.5, Fiji, with a double right hook to the side of the belly and to the temple, putting him on the deck for the count at 2:15 of the opening session in a non-title 10 in Tokyo, Japan.

Nishizawa, who acquired the vacant OPBF belt by outscoring Aussie Heath Stenton last June, found it easy to demolish the fragile Fijian.

MORISITA TURNS THE TABLE BY 8TH ROUND KO OF ASANO

OSAKA, JAPAN-Japanese #3 ranked welter Hidemi Morishita (8-1-1, 6 KOs), 157.75, was losing on points, but scored a come-from-behind KO of #5 ranked Jo Asano (9-7-1, 5 KOs), 157.75, with a looping left hook at 3:10 of the 8th round in a scheduled 12.

Morishita exploded with a vicious left hook thrown just at the bell, flattening his opponent for the count.

Ex-OPBF challenger Kenji Ryuki (9-2, 5 KOs), 129.5, barely eked out a majority nod (97-95, 96-95 and 95-95) over Koji Narita (8-4-4, 3 KOs), 130, over 10.
