TOKYO, JAPAN-Four-time world lightweight challenger Hiroyuki Sakamoto (37-5, 27 KOs), 140, decked his second comeback bout and dropped Thai #5 super-light Nannam Kiatprasanchai (8-6, 3 KOs), 135.25, with wicked body shots three times en route to an automatic stoppage at 1:52 of the third round in Tokyo, Japan.
Unbeaten OPBF #2 ranked sensation Eagle Okuda (3-0, 2 KOs), 105.25, battered Korean minimum champ Minsoo Chang (7-7-2, 5 KOs), 105.25, to the punch, sweeping all rounds to score a shutout nod (100-90 twice and 100-89) over 10. Eagle, an imported Thailander, had finished the then OPBF #2 ranked ex-IBF 105-pound champ Nico Thomas in his second pro outing to cause a sensation.
Japanese #5 feather Nobuhito Honmo (19-4-1, 5 KOs), 130, weakend game southpaw Makoto Saito (11-9-1, 2 KOs), 129.5, floored him in the second and halted him at 1:30 of the 4th.
