September 21, 2002

TOKYO, JAPAN-WBC #28 ranked Satoru Suzuki(right photo) (18-3, 12 KOs), 159.25, kept his Japanese middleweight belt as he withstood an opening attack of Bull Okabe (9-5-1, 9 KOs), 160, and displayed an impressive retaliation to open such a nasty cut and a swollen right optic for Okabe to go on after the third round in Tokyo, Japan.
