EX-WBA 115-POUND CHAMP TODAKA WINS OVER THAILANDER

MIYAZAKI, JAPAN-Ex-WBA 115-pound champ Hideki Todaka (20-3-1, 10 KOs), 118.75, engaged in his third comeback bout and pounded out a nearly shutout decision (99-91, 99-94 and 100-93) over Loedsiam Kiatkriengkrai (4-4, 1 KO), 118,75, over 10 in Miyazaki, his native place.

Despite a lopsided process, Todaka had a badly swollen left eye and the crowd saw it a tougher fight than expected.

Undercard:

Japanese 140-pound champ Tadashi Yuba (20-1-2, 13 KOs), 140.5, scored a one-punch KO over Thailander Chodchoi 13 Coin Tower (5-3, 3 KOs), 138, at 1:59 of the opening session. His long southpaw left was a haymaker.
