TOKYO, JAPAN-WBA interim bantam champ Hideki Todaka (21-3-1, 10 KOs), Japan, welcomes his good payday to face WBA full ruler Johnny Bredahl (54-2, 26 KOs) in a WBA unification bout in Denmark on March 13. The WBA purse bidding took place last Saturday, and Danish promoter Morgens Palle outbid Teiken Promotionsf $215,000 with his lucrative offer of $227,000. Todaka will pocket 45% of the ultimate purse offer, $102,150, while Bredahl will receive 55%, $124,850. The Japanese champ confidently said, gI am very much willing to unify the WBA belts by beating Bredahl anywhere.h Todaka, ex-WBA 115-pound champ and five years his junior at 30, acquired his second WBA belt in the 118-pound division by defeating Venezuelan veteran Leo Gamez in a grueling affair in Tokyo last October.
