YODSANAN VS. SUGITA WBA 130-LB TITLE BOUT SET

NAGOYA, JAPAN-WBA 130-pound champ Yodsanan 3K Battery Nanthachai (42-2-1, 34 KOs), Thailand, will put his belt on the line against Japanese bull-fighter Ryuhei Sugita (25-1-2, 21 KOs) (right photo) in Gifu, Japan, on February 8. Hatanaka Promotion, presided by ex-WBC 122-pound champ Kiyoshi Hatanaka (who dethroned Pedro Decima and yielded to Daniel Zaragoza), has announced its schedule of event as follows. On February 2, Yodsananfs group including his promoter Songchai Ratanasuban will arrive in Japan. On February 3 and 4, Sugita and Yodsanan will engage in a public workout respectively. On February 5, a medical examination will be made for both contestants. On February 6, a press conference and rules meeting will be held at Nagoya Hilton Hotel. On February 7, the official weigh-in will take place at the CBC TV conference room. On February 8, the title bout will start at about 4 pm.
