TOKYO, JAPAN-WBC 122-pound champ Oscar Larios (50-3-1, 35 KOs) arrived in Tokyo, Japan from Los Angeles today (Friday) in preparation for his defense against Japanese hard-puncher Shigeru Nakazato on this coming March 6. As soon as he checked in at the hotel, he wished to go and train at Teiken Gym presided by Akihiko Honda, the promoter of the triple world title bouts. After his one-hour workout, Larios said, he was already 126, just four pounds over the super-bantam limit. The 27-year-old Mexican nicknamed gChololoh looked confident and strong with his good preparation in Mexico and Los Angeles. Larios was accompanied by his manager Jose Reynoso and his apoderado (business manager) Rafael Mendoza.
