OSAKA, JAPAN-Sensational flyweight prospect gKarate Kidh Koki Kameda (5-0, 4 KOs), 112, swarmed over Thai #2 ranked contender Nopadetchlek Chuwatana (3-3, 1 KO), 111.75, from the outset, floored him with a wicked body shot and sank him again for the count at 0:59 of the second round in a scheduled ten. The 17-year-old southpaw overwhelmed the Thailander with a flurry of strong punches, and collapsed him with a vicious body punch to the liver. The ex-amateur champ will come up to Tokyo and fight his sixth bout early next year.
Up-and-coming Ken Nakajima (12-2, 7 KOs), 110.25, impressively dispatched Thai national 108-pound champ Fahkhanong Singdongthai (7-2, 4 KOs), 109.25, a terrific left hooker, with a fusillade of punches followed by a solid left hook at 0:53 of the fifth round in a scheduled ten. Though leading on points, Nakajima was badly rocked by Fahkhanongfs trade-mark left hook, but furiously retaliated with a two-fisted attack to end the affair.
