PONGSAKLEK AND KOMATSU AT 112

OSAKA, JAPAN-The WBC flyweight champ Pongsaklek Kratindaeng-gym Wongjongkam, Thailand, and Japanese challenger Noriyuki Komatsu both tipped the beam at the 112-pound class limit on Friday afternoon at the Miyako Hotel in Osaka, Japan.

The WBC officials are as follows: referee Malcolm Bulner (Australia), judges Oren Shellenberger (US), Alejandro Rochin (Mexico) and Jaebong Kim (Korea); and WBC supervisor Frank Quill, the OPBF president (Australia).

The first fight of tomorrowfs show will start at 5:30 pm and the main event will begin after 8 pm. It will be telecast live to Thailand, though shown on a delayed basis from 0:50 am after midnight here in Japan.
