FIGHTING HARADA LEAVES HOSPITAL

February 26, 2005

TOKYO, JAPAN-Masahiko gFightingh Harada, ex-world flyweight and bantamweight champ out of Japan, left hospital in Tokyo yesterday (Friday) after he was hospitalized on January 23 and underwent a brain surgery. Harada, the 61-year-old president of Japan Pro Boxing Association (JPBA) which is the union of all the licensed club owners and promoters, looked so fine after a one-month hospitalization as previously that he showed shadow boxing before press people. The ex-fistic hero will return to work and appear in the JPBA meeting on March 6. His recuperative power was as remarkable as he had shown in withstanding the furious attack of previously unbeaten and invincible Eder Jofre in the fifth round to fight back to capture the world bantam throne in 1965.
