TOKYO, JAPAN-WBC #19 ranked ex-OPBF bantam champ Jun Toriumi (24-5-1, 10KOs), 119.25, displayed a fine form in dropping Akira Takano (11-12-3, 7KOs), 119.25, twice en route to an impressive stoppage at 0:36 of thesixth round in a scheduled eight on Monday in Tokyo, Japan. The31-year-old southpaw lost his OPBF belt to Thailander Kumarnthong PorPluemkamol by an upset decision in his last bout here, but showed hisdetermination in toppling the game opponent tonight.

Undercard:

Japanese #7 bantam Kohei Kohno (15-3, 5 KOs), 118, floored ThailanderPetchdam Sithsaithong (4-4, 1 KO), 117, twice and halted him at 1:07 ofthe second session in a supporting eight.
