TOKYO, JAPAN-Ex-WBA minimumweight champ Noel Arambulet, Venezuela, arrived in Tokyo, Japan, on Sunday in preparation for a sensational encounter with unbeaten WBA#8 ranked flyweight Koki Kameda, a 19-year-old most popular ringster here, on this coming Saturday. The fleet-footed Venezulean engaged in a public workout and showed a couple of sparring sessions with unbeaten WBC international 105-pound champ Tshepo Lefele on Monday. Lefele was sent as a partner for Kameda by Branco Milenkovic from South Africa, and has been serving well to help Kamedafs training along with WBC #14 108-pounder Muvhuso Nedzanami for two weeks. Arambulet displayed his trade-mark swift footwork and cleverly averted Lefelefs fast combinations to retaliate with quick counters. Rafael Moron, Arambuletfs manager, said, gKameda fought just eight times as a pro, while my boy battled eight world title bouts to his credit. The difference of experience will decide the outcome.h Kameda, a flamboyant big mouth, predicts an early knockout win over the ex-champ, but Arambulet seemed in superb shape physically and mentally.
