TOKUYAMA FACES #1 NAVARRO TOMORROW

OSAKA, JAPAN-The weigh-in ceremony for the WBC 115-pound title bout has been over, as the defending champ Masamori Tokuyama (31-3-1, 8 KOs), Japan, tipped the beam at the class limit, while top contender Jose Navarro (23-1, 11 KOs), US. scaled in at 114.75, a quarter less. There was a press conference beforehand, and both spoke out confidently. Navarro said, gIhll bring back the belt to the US as I decisively beat him.h Tokuyama responded, gI have had such a good condition that Ifll show a good form in defending my belt.h The mandatory title go will start at 8 pm tomorrow (Monday).

The WBC officials are as follows: referee Mark Green (UK); judges John Keane (UK), Bob Logist (Belgium) and Guido Cavalleri (Italy); supervisor Peter Stucki (Switzerland). The WBC appointed all European officials to have it definitely fair and square. We are looking forward to seeing a good game.
