KAMEDA WINS SECOND PRO BOUT

April 17, 2006

TOKYO, JAPAN

Sensational rookie Daiki Kameda (2-0, 1 KO), 114.25, a hard-punching Japanese 115-pounder and the younger brother of more sensational and fast-rising WBA#4 flyweight Koki, decked his second pro victory by winning a shutout decision (60-53 twice and 60-54) over Samart Twins-gym (6-7, no KO), 118, six lopsided rounds despite his KO prediction on Monday in Tokyo, Japan. Their father Shiro Kameda boldly says that all the three sons will become world champs along with the youngest Kazuki.

The Korakuen Hall saw an incredible capacity crowd in attendance due to Daikifs as much flamboyance as his brother predicting more than 15 consecutive KO wins from the debut. But it failed because of the Thailanderfs refusal to go down despite his absorption of much punishment. Daiki pinned Samart to the ropes with a flurry of punches all the way, but the Thailander showed his pride and gameness to last the distance. Daiki will appear on the undercard of Kokifs encounter with Nicaraguan Carlos Fajardo with a short interval at the Ariake Coliseum on May 5. It may be a strange phenomenon that even Japanese national title bouts or other world contenders cannot see a sell-out audience at the Hall, but Daiki thus gathered such a full-house crowd.

Promoter: Kyoei Promotions.
