Formerly three-class national champ Tadashi Yuba (28-4-2, 20 KOs), 147, a Japanese lefty six-footer, dropped Opeti Tagi (reportedly 8-3, 4 KOs), 146.5, in the second and three times more in the next and scored an automatic stoppage at 1:36 of the third round on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan. Yuba previously lost to WBA rated Masa Farkhad Bakirov, a Japan-based Uzbekistani, on points, but he looked fresh from his last defeat to collect a Fijian victim.
OPBF ranked Japanese heavyweight Ryosuke Takahashi (16-4-1, 9 KOs), 207.5, finished another Fijian Vitori Natawake (reportedly 4-3, 1 KO), 197.25, at 1:43 of the second session in a scheduled ten. Naoki Yamanaka, 140, halted Waisale Ratu, 136.75, Fiji, at 1:47 of the third round.
