WBC#12 TADA BLASTS OUT NIDNOI

October 5, 2008

KYOTO, JAPAN

Future world female champ, WBC#12 atomweight Etsuko Tada (3-0, 2 KOs), 101.25, continued her winning streak as she showed a quick demolition of Thailander Nidnoi Poh Ad (3-2), 102, at 1:56 of the opening session in a scheduled eight on Sunday in Kyoto, Japan.

Tada, a lanky southpaw hard-puncher, had an excellent amateur career of 46-4, having twice defeated the current WBC 102-pound champ Momo Koseki to her credit. Six-time ex-amateur champ Tada, 27, swarmed over the Thailander, landed a vicious body shot and had her groggy enough to prompt the refereefs intervention. The southpaw sharpshooter displayed her precision and pugnacity in scoring three victories since entering the paid ranks. Her future may be bright.

MIURA SINKS DAOCHAI IN THREE

October 6, 2008

TOKYO, JAPAN

Japanese top 130-pounder, OPBF#9 Takashi Miura (15-1-1, 13 KOs), 132.5, collected another victim as he dispatched Thailander Daochai Sishsoei (9-6-1, 2 KOs), 129, with a double southpaw left for the count at 2:33 of the third round in a scheduled eight on Monday in Tokyo, Japan.

Daochai, technically good because of his amateur experience unlike other mediocre Thai opponents, showed his speed and skills to frustrate the game Japanese southpaw in the first two rounds. Miura, however, felt him out and found his own rhythm in catching the taller Thailander with vicious shots, finally dispatching him with good shots. Miura, who had failed to win the national belt from current WBA light ruler Yusuke Kobori by a close verdict last year, is gunning for a shot at the JBC throne against current titlist Yoshimitsu Yashiro in a forthcoming mandatory crack.
