Unbeaten Japanfs only #11 ranked super-fly prospect Ryo Akaho (11-0-1, 6 KOs), 116, very impressively defeated OPBF#2 ranked Thai national champ Norasingh Kiatprasanchai (17-13-1, 14 KOs), 116, as Akaho positively kept battering the Thai veteran, unleashed solid combinations upstairs and downstairs and pounded out a unanimous upset decision (79-73, 79-74 and 78-74) over eight fast rounds on Monday in Tokyo, Japan.
Norasingh was such a tough hombre that he put on a hairline performance in an OPBF elimination bout with current titleholder Konosuke Tomiyama this June. Akahofs future may be bright, if booked properly from now on.
