THAILAND--The WBF junior bantamweight champ SAMSON DUTCHBOYGYM, who had
kept his title 22 times, suffered a serious auto accident. He sustained
broken ribs and other injuries that required 73 stitches. At 10 pm,
Samson failed to drive properly and had his car fall down sidelong.
It's pity that he didn't hold himself with a seat belt, so he was thrown
20 m out of his car. The Thai boxers who passed away on auto accidents
were as follows: ex-WBC light fly champ Netrnoi Sor Vorasingh, world
contender Vichit Muangroi-et, the then WBC international champ Asawin
Sordusit, and ex-OPBF champ Petchgam Chuwatana.
